How do I use my e-tickets?

You will be emailed an order confirmation that will include your unique Booking Reference Number and a barcode that also contains this number. On arrival at Dublin Zoo, go to the Groups/Pre-Paid entrance and use any of the following three options to gain entry:

  • Mobile: Present the booking reference / booking email via your mobile phone to gain entry OR
  • Print: Print email and present to gain entry OR
  • Quote Reference Code: Simply quote your ticket reference code to the representative at the turnstile to gain entry
What if I don't receive my eTicket within 2 hours?

Sometimes tickets can go into the 'Junk' mail box, so please check your spam filters and the 'Junk' mailbox if it hasn't arrived within 2 hours.

Do you issue refunds?

Unfortunately, we cannot issue refunds or cancellations; there is no legal right to cancel as the booking is for leisure activities to take place on a specific date as described in regulation 13 of the European Union Consumer Information (Rights) Regulations 2013 (SI 484/2013’).

What is the validity period for etickets?

Tickets are date specific. Tickets are valid for the chosen date of booking ONLY. 

Unfortunately, we cannot issue refunds or cancellations; there is no legal right to cancel as the booking is for leisure activities to take place on a specific date as described in regulation 13 of the European Union Consumer Information (Rights) Regulations 2013 (SI 484/2013’).

 

 

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Laser.

What security is in place for purchasing tickets online?

The ticketing system is stored on a secure server and all transactions taking place use encrypted data to ensure that your details are safe when making a purchase online.

How can I avail of a concession/additional needs ticket?

Dublin Zoo will permit one free carer per person with additional needs. Please bring relevant ID and documentation, such as an IAA Autism ID card, or an associated membership card, GP letter or hospital consultant letter which confirms the visitor is unable to visit Dublin Zoo independently without the aid of a carer or mobility aid.
