This is a WAITING LIST for our 2018 course. The course is fully booked, please add your name to the waiting list here. Please note that adding your name to this list will not guarantee you a space on the course. We will get in touch with you only if a space has become available. Spaces will be allocated on a first come first served basis according to the date and time their name was added to this list.

 

Course Information:

Our week-long in-service course for teachers is a great way to upskill in Social, Environmental and Scientific Education. You will learn more about native species that can be found in your own school environment while learning about native and non-native species in Dublin Zoo. Topics will be delivered by expert facilitators in our new Discovery and Learning Centre and from our immersive living classroom, the grounds of Dublin Zoo.

Course dates:

July 2nd – 6th 

The course is due to run from 10am – 2:45pm each day.

Time: 10am – 2:30pm each day

Dublin Zoo's summer camps are designed for children aged 6 – 12 years old to have fun learning about the animals at Dublin Zoo, getting an introduction to conservation and gaining an overall appreciation for wildlife. This weeklong camp includes exciting hands-on activities, craft projects and sessions delivered throughout the Zoo (but no direct contact with animals).

 

Age: 6-12 years (children will be assigned to age related groups)

Cost: Annual pass holders - €130. Non-annual pass holders - €140.
